Morphological and molecular identification of economically important aphid species (Hemiptera: Aphididae), study of their biology, ecology and damage on cultivated plants. Monitoring of aphid flight activity as potential vectors of plant viruses, in different agroecosystems. Study of allochthonous and autochthonous zoophagous coccinellids (Coleoptera: Coccinellidae) - natural enemies of aphids and whiteflies. Detection, morphological and molecular identification and monitoring of quarantine and invasive insect species in agricultural production. |
