Monitoring methods for detection and distribution of harmful rodents with implementation of  preventive protection measures in agriculture and forestry, rodent management, biological, ecological and genetic characteristics of small rodents as indicators of environmental pollution, improvement of rodenticide bait formulations, monitoring of rodent resistance to anticoagulant rodenticides, determining the presence of mutations in the Vkorc1 gene in individuals with reduced sensitivity to anticoagulants; the importance of rodents as hosts and vectors of various diseases of humans, domestic and wild animals, examination of the biology and ecology of snails and the biological effectiveness of molluscicides.
